If you arrive by...

If you arrive by car (from the motorway)

From Milan

  • take the A1 motorway (autostrada) and exit at Borgo Panigale;
  • take the Tangenziale, exit at "Quartiere San Donato" (exit n. 9); 
  • continue on via San Donato, turn on the left at via Romolo Amaseo and continue until you reach Piazza  A. Mickiewicz;
  • take via Libia and then take the fourth turn on the right at via G. Palmieri;
  • take the first left at via Bentivogli and continue to the traffic light on Via Massarenti;
  • cross over the crossing and you are in via Albertoni.

From Ancona

  • take the A14 highway (autostrada), exit at S. Lazzaro;
  • take the Tangenziale, exit at "Quartiere San Vitale - H. S.Orsola - Via Massarenti" (exit n. 11); 
  • continue on via Massarenti until you reach the intersection with Via Albertoni on the left.

From Florence

  • take the A1 highway (autostrada), exit at Casalecchio di Reno;
  • take the Tangenziale, exit at "Quartiere San Donato" (exit n. 9);
  • continue on via San Donato, turn on the left at via Romolo Amaseo and continue until you reach piazza A. Mickiewicz;
  • take via Libia and  the fourth turn on the right on via G. Palmieri;
  • take the first left at via Bentivogli. Continue until you reach the traffic light on Via Massarenti;
  • cross over the crossing and you are in via Albertoni.

From Venice-Padua

  • take A13 motorway (autostrada), and exit at Bologna Arcoveggio;
  • take the Tangenziale and exit at "Quartiere San Donato" (exit n. 9);
  • continue on via S.Donato, turn on the left at via Romolo Amaseo and continue until you reach Piazza A. Mickiewicz;
  • take via Libia and  then take the fourth turn on the right on via G. Palmieri;
  • take the first left at via Bentivogli. Continue until you reach the traffic light on Via Massarenti;
  • cross over the crossing and you are in via Albertoni.

If you arrive by train

The Bologna Central railway station is 3 km from the Polyclinic.
 From here it is possible to reach the Polyclinic:

•    with one of the bus lines (see below).
•    by taxi

The following ATC bus lines go to the Hospital:

•    14 Barca - S. Vitale / S. Vitale - Barca
•    25 Gomito - dep. Due Madonne / dep. Due Madonne - Gomito
•    32 Circular external right ("Circolare Esterna Destra")
•    33 Circular external left ("Circolare Esterna Sinistra")
•    36 Barca - Mazzini - Ospedale Bellaria/Ospedale Bellaria - Mazzini - Barca.

Since 15th September, 2008, it is possible to reach the Polyclinic using the B shuttle. The line serves the city centre, the university zone and the St. Orsola-Malpighi University Hospital, connecting these points of interest with the main parking area, from 7:00 am to 1:00 am every day.

If you arrive by plane

The Bologna airport “G. Marconi” is about 6 km far from the center of the town.
From there you can reach the Hospital:
•    with a direct service of bus "Aerobus" which connects the airport to the city center and the central railway station. Then take a local bus (see above).
