If you arrive by car (from the motorway)
From Venice or Padua, follow the A13 motorway and take the Bologna-Arcoveggio exit
From Florence, follow the A1 motorway and take the Bologna-Casalecchio exit
From Milan, follow the A1 motorway and take the Bologna-Borgo Panigale exit
From Rimini and the Adriatic Coast, follow the A14 motorway and take the Bologna-Arcoveggio exit
If you arrive by car (from the ring road - "Tangenziale") take exit n.5 (LAME)
If you arrive by train
The CNR is a 5-minute taxi journey from "Bologna Centrale" Railway Station: ask for "CNR, via Gobetti 101". You can also arrive by bus:

Take the AEROBUS BLQ and change to the 87 bus at the "Ospedale Maggiore" bus stop, or take a taxi: the CNR is a 10-minute taxi ride (ask for "CNR, via Gobetti 101")
